Married with two children and a gorgeous but mad canine called Buddy, I was born in Norfolk and have lived here most of my life. I love every aspect of photography from landscapes to portraits, day or night my camera follows me everywhere.
My interest in photography began as part of one of my other passions in life, fishing, self takes of captured fish progressed to moody images of beautiful landscapes under the big skies of Norfolk; to pictures of the wonderful wildlife that can be found at the lakeside. I then soon found myself pushing my limits in all aspects of photography gaining valuable experience in all genres of photography .
Living in Norfolk I am fortunate to have reasonably light pollution free skies in the rural areas of our county and have the opportunity to capture some of nature’s finest phenomena, Aurora Borealis or The Northern Lights, this has led to having my work published in the media on a number of occasions. I now also provide photography training workshops, instructing other photographers from beginner to advanced level, you could say that photography is now somewhat of an addiction.
Based in Norwich with my wife Belinda and Border Collie Scooby. I have 2 Children, 2 Grandchildren and am a season ticket holder at Norwich City Football Club.
I purchased my first SLR camera for a safari holiday to Kenya in 2008 (I was a late starter!) since then my passion for photography has grown. Armed with my first camera and tripod I would get up very early to hopefully capture a colourful sunrise on the Norfolk coast, I still love landscape photography now but not the early mornings!
Since those early days I have purchased some portable studio equipment and been fortunate enough to photograph Mums to be, babies, cake smashes and family portraits.
Then I was asked to take the photo’s at my Sons wedding, and so it continues – – – – – –
